Raising The Pom Poms For Pom Tea

Pomegranates have long been part of the list of antioxidant-packed fruits, which is why drinking pomegranate juice is so healthy for you. Back in 2002, POM Wonderful decided to delve into the pomegranate juice market and released it’s fun-shaped plastic bottles of pomegranate juice.

But, for some people, the taste of pomegranate juice can be a little too intense. Strongly concentrated, it can be hard to drink proper amounts of the healthful drink. So how did POM Wonderful address this problem?

Formerly, the dishwasher safe glasses had the POM Tea sticker on them, but now they have POM Tea etched in. Also, for those wanting larger quantities of the stuff, they now offer a 44-oz. glass bottle of POM Tea. You can find either serving portion at most grocery stores.

They just released “Light” versions of POM Tea that come in the following new flavors:
LIGHT Wildberry White Tea
LIGHT Orange Blossom Red Tea
LIGHT Hibiscus Green Tea

Other great sources of antioxidants include blueberries, acai berries, and dark chocolate. Anything that is rich in Vitamins C, or B, or that contains Selenium or Beta-Carotene is considered rich with antioxidants, according to Pat Kendall, Ph D.
